Michelle Ditter, LMT - Long Bio

LMT#17348

Michelle Lynn Ditter is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified Yoga Instructor, a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and a Nationally Certified Asian Bodywork Therapist through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Michelle’s training has included a 1000 hour program in Asian Bodywork and Traditional Chinese Medicine, many years of practice and study of Sivananda Hatha Yoga, 9 years as a certified Chiropractor’s Assistant, study of Traditional Thai Massage in Thailand, and a two-year certification program in Holistic Nutrition. Her greatest teachers have been the thousands of clients beneath her hands in the 20 years of her bodywork and wellness practice.

Michelle’s work on the table is a fusion of her uniquely combined skill sets, her deep intuition, and her desire to be a clear conduit for healing in the world. Her intention is for each client to deeply relax, experience the myriad benefits of therapeutic massage, and leave the table feeling balanced, renewed and reminded of what it feels like to be in a relaxed and pain free body.

Michelle has been a practitioner of yoga for more than half her life. She initiated her practice living in the jungles on Maui and has continued to develop her relationship with it’s many branches since. She loves to share the wonderful gifts yoga has to offer and is especially excited about her fusion of yoga and massage, which some clients have deemed “life-changing”.

Michelle is also a certified Holistic Nutritionist. As a believer of using food as medicine and the power of nutrition, Michelle has always felt drawn to the art of cooking whole foods to create nourishing and beautiful dishes. She uses her knowledge to offer nutritional consulting and seasonal workshops. She believes in the concept of ME-ganism: No one diet fits all, and what works, may change with time.

When not focusing on Flourish, Michelle can be found enjoying all things in nature, traveling near and far, playing in her garden and yard, sweating it out at Barre3 classes, running along the river, dancing to live music, cooking, snowboarding, and playing with her German Shepard-Husky dog, Railay, whom she shares a birthday with, and who will often greet you at the office and be found zen-like under the massage table, if you’re lucky!

Sophie Howard, LMT - Long Bio

LMT#27401

Sophie started her massage therapy journey at the Florida School of Massage in NW Florida in the spring 2017. Sophie has long been called to help people in some way, and by being attuned to the human body by practicing yoga since she was 10 years old, she felt that massage therapy was her true calling in life.

Following graduation from the Florida School of Massage, she received certification in Thai Massage from the Bodhi Sangha in Gainesville, Florida.

Sophie moved to Eugene, Oregon a couple years ago from Florida due to the progressive vibe of the region, incredible gardening and the beautiful nature.

As well as being an incredible practitioner, Sophie also facilitates workshops on Thai massage at yoga studios and festivals, with the intention to help people connect through loving kindness and care with the community around them.

Sophie has a profound understanding of kinesiology and anatomy, and is able to help those with chronic pain through deep tissue therapy. In her sessions, she will use an array of suction cups, hot stones and hot towels to enhance the benefits of the therapy. She also practices traditional Swedish massage to help those who just want to relax, as well as prenatal for those expecting little ones.

Along with her knowledge of the anatomical body, her roots and wisdom lie in the ancient healing modality of Thai massage. Thai combines deep assisted stretching with kneading and compressing of the meridian lines and acupressure points of the body, which in yogic philosophy is the space in which prana (breath) moves through us. By massaging and stretching these lines, it is said that it helps breath move through our body more effectively, which helps everything in the body function better!

Sophie has an intuitive, caring approach when it comes to her massage practice. She curates a specialized plan for each client she works with. She strives to help them feel their best in body, mind and spirit, and gives them the care they need in that moment, and moments to come. She has a deep understanding and empathy towards the human condition and hopes to lend a healing hand to create less stress and pain, and more bliss and movement.

Savanna Sardi, LMT - Long Bio

LMT #27137

Savanna is an integrative and intuitive Licensed Massage Therapist. She draws upon Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Myofascial Release techniques to weave a unique and energetic blend catered to each client. She aims, through her devoted presence and touch, to create a warm and nurturing environment for the body to do what it does best: heal.

As a facilitator of this healing process, she strongly believes her role is to create space for the body to re-member itself back to a state of wholeness. The rhythmic and thorough nature of her work will leave clients feeling listened to, cared for, and deeply supported on their healing journey.

Savanna grew up in Miami, FL, and eventually flew the coop to travel the country doing volunteer work. After falling in love with this west coast, she decided to set down roots in Eugene. A few years later, she left to travel and attend The Sedona School of Massage, a 700-hour program in Sedona, Arizona.

After working as a Licensed Massage Therapist in Colorado, and then at Breitenbush Hot Springs in Oregon, she is very excited to now be offering this work to the Eugene community!

Her massage practice is medicine for her, too, as every session invites her into deeper presence and awareness. When she’s not in a session, Savanna is likely somewhere deep in nature, reading, practicing yoga, contact improv dancing, singing, volunteering at various non-profits, or tending to her community home.
