Maybe you’ve never done yoga in your life and are ready to give it a try? Maybe you’re a beginner or intermediate practitioner who is ready take your practice to the next level?
Flourish is here for you! One-on-one yoga sessions can teach you postures that you can then practice at home. With full attention on you and your posturing, you are able to reap the most benefits out of your session. With 19 years of massage and bodywork expertise and a background in yoga, Michelle can tailor your session to target specific areas you’d like to focus on, or she can get you started with the basics to increase flexibility and strength.
Michelle is trained in Sivananda Hatha Yoga and was given the honorary title of Yoga Siromani, which means: ‘one who holds the lineage’. Along with deep breathing techniques (pranayama) and full relaxation between postures (sivasana), what drew Michelle to Sivananda was living a true yogic lifestyle; addressing the eight limbs of yoga which form a moral or ethical code to help us live happier, more meaningful lives. Michelle wishes this for everybody and is happy to share her knowledge with you!
